Mr Burin Ampai started Bamboo Elephant Family Care with his father back in 2016, when a baby female elephant called Noi just 3 years old at the time was passed down to him by his cousin, Noi is now a fully-grown adult that’s recently just given birth. Our day reviewing Bamboo Elephant Family care was nothing short of an amazing experience, our guide played a very significant role in making the day so good, his sense of humor was infectious, he was very knowledgeable and engaging he answered everyone’s questions and was eager to help the group learn as much as possible. The elephants are allowed to roam free and it was obvious that they are very happy. No chains or hooks are used and there’s definitely no riding allowed. The camp has 6 elephants in total including Noi’s cute baby, we could tell that these elephants are very well cared for and in our opion only having 6 elephants was a good thing because it gave everyone the chance to interact and learn the personalities of each one! We can’t recommend this place enough.
